IPT is a plain (simple) medical procedure employing the hormone insulin with glucose in sequence for a better drainage of medicine into tumour cells. As these cells contrary to ordinary human cells provide for a more intensive basic turnover they absorbe glucose faster after a period of hypoglycaemia. This procedure is based on so called insulin receivers (IR) and insulin resembling growth factor – I receivers (IGF – IR).

With tumour cells providing for immensely more IR and IGF – IR than ordinary human cells chemotherapy can effect much more on malicious cells with the additional effect that the now popular dose of the Chemotherapy Protokoll can be diminished which consequently leads to minor side – effects.

The treatment tales apoximately one hour, it is little strenuous and well aplicabe to out patients.
